We collect different categories of data depending on how you use the platform:

Account creation: first and last name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and payment information.
Passenger profile (optional): photo, saved addresses (home/work), language preferences, etc.
Driver information: photo, address, ID card, driver’s license, vehicle registration, insurance, bank details, local tax information (e.g., NIF), and any required professional licenses.
SOS contact: access to your address book to select emergency contacts.
Ratings and reviews: we collect the scores and comments you leave after each ride.
Communications: any information you exchange with our support team or through in-app messaging.
B. Automatically Collected Information
GPS Location:
Passengers: real-time location from ride request to ride completion.
Drivers: continuous geolocation tracking while connected to the app, including in the background.
Platform usage: ride times and dates, routes, distances, payment methods, promo codes, app or site navigation.
Device data: model, OS, IP address, network type, language settings, motion sensors (e.g., speed, braking for drivers).
Calls and messages between users: may be recorded via third parties without revealing personal numbers.
C. Information from Third Parties
Third-party verification: criminal background, license, insurance, tax info.
Partner programs: financing, insurance, driver bonuses.
Ride orders via third parties: companies or partners may provide your contact info and pickup/drop-off points.
Referral programs: referrer and referee names and details.
Public sources or local authorities: e.g., Haiti’s National Police (PNH) during investigations.

Provide and improve the Wouliber platform
Ensure user safety
Facilitate customer support
Personalize the experience and offer promotions
Comply with legal obligations or respond to legal inquiries
We do not sell your data. We only share it in the following situations:
A. Between Users
Passengers → Drivers: name, photo, pickup location, destination, average rating
Drivers → Passengers: name, photo, vehicle details, license plate, rating
Shared rides: name and photo of co-passengers may be visible
B. Third-Party Providers (local or international)
Mobile or bank payment processors (e.g., MonCash, Unibank)
Document verification and insurance services
Marketing and advertising partners (e.g., Google, Facebook)
Customer service, cloud hosting, or tech service providers
C. Legal or Safety Reasons
Responding to subpoenas, legal requests, or investigations
Preventing fraud, ensuring regulatory compliance
Cooperating with the PNH or other public authorities
Your data is securely stored on our servers or those of certified partners.
We retain your data as long as your account is active and up to 7 years for accounting or tax obligations.

Wouliber does not target or knowingly collect data from children under 13. If a parent discovers that their child has submitted personal data, they can contact us to have it deleted.
